Introduction:
the clinical activity of the Institute of Family Therapy of Florence
In the clinical field, the ITFF has an intense
clinical activity with families, couples and individuals. This activity
is held by the clinical staff at the seat of via Masaccio 175 and
it is based on the classic Family Therapy procedure, that is, the
use of a therapeutic couple made of a supervisor, observing the
therapy through a unidirectional mirror, and a therapist, directly
working with the family. The sessions are video-recorded.
Moreover, the ITFF directly and indirectly supervises the clinical
activity of other connected institutes, geographically spread in
the northern and central part of Italy:
- Institute of Family Therapy of the Venetian region (seats in
Treviso, Padova and newly in Verona and Vicenza)
- Institute of Family Therapy of Siena (seats in Siena and Poggibonsi)
- Institute of Family Therapy of Parma
- Institute of Family Therapy of Lucca
- Institute of Family Therapy of La Spezia
- Center for Family Ecology of Este
- Institute of Family Therapy of Bologna
- LOGOS Genova
